Maie El Kharrat

Psychotherapist

Maie is a dedicated existential therapist with a solid three years of experience in the mental health field. She holds an MSc in Psychotherapy Studies from the New School of Psychotherapy and Counseling in London (2025), an MA in Sociology of Childhood from University College London (UCL), and a BSc in Law from Ain Shams University.

Maie’s diverse educational background enriches her understanding of the multifaceted challenges her clients face. Her work with vulnerable populations has equipped her with a robust foundation to support individuals dealing with attachment conflicts, anxiety, emotional regulation, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Primarily trained in Existential Psychotherapy, Maie employs an integrative approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. This approach combines existential therapy, psychodynamic therapy, somatic experiences, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Maie prioritizes the individual’s perspective and inherent capacity for self-understanding, while considering the broader life contexts in which they navigate. Her goal is to empower clients to achieve greater self-awareness and resilience, fostering overall well-being.
